11 1/2" (30 cm). Bisue socket head, blue glass
sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes,
multi-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye
corners, open mouth,four teeth, blonde mohair
wig, French composition and wooden fully jointed
body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Unis
France 71 149 301 1 1/4. Comments: Bleuette,
circa 1935. Value Points: original Red Cross
nurse's costume comprising dress, apron,
headdress; included is French children's
book "Josette et Ses Poupees", published in 1939,
that includes a storyline about the child's
favorite doll Bleuette, along with pastel
illustrations.
