Description
21" x 16" box. A heavy cardboard box with
maroon paper cover, ornamental border and
richly designed label reading "Service metal,
Fabrication Francaise, CBG" opens to reveal
originally fitted elaborate doll-sized dinner
service for six, of embossed pewter,
comprising three covered footed tureens, two
footed compotes, oval serving platter, serving
bowl, two serving plates, twelve dinner plates,
six napkin rings, along with knives, forks and
spoons in gold finish for six (one knife
missing), and one serving ladle. A store label
for CBG is on the underside of the box.
