12" (30 cm). Bisque socket head, painted facial features, narrow eyes in deeply sculpted sockets, black and incised upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with laughing expression, outlined lips, row of upper teeth, dimpled chin, brunette mohair braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique folklore costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 550 6/0 G.H. Comments: Erste Steinbacher Porzellanfabrick, circa 1925. Value Points: wonderfully modeled features with deeply impressed laughter lines around the eyes and mouth, dimpled chin and cheeks, rare model.
