17" (43 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, long painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pouty expression, accent line between the lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: faint early hairline at back of head. Marks: G.K. 34.27. Comments: Gebruder Kuhnlenz, circa 1888, the doll is know as the "Kuhnlenz Bru" for its resemblance to the Bru Jne bebe. Value Points: very beautiful doll with pleasing pale bisque, original wig, body, muslin store chemise and bonnet, antique undergarments, shoes.
