Description
20"l. (51 cm). The hollow paper mache horse
body and head is painted dapple grey with
decorated saddlery and harness, has painted
mane and real horsehair tail. The center back
is a large cut hole to be used by child for
"riding"; the red horse blanket would cover the
legs of the child who could pretend to be the
horse. The 1890 era toy is an excellent display
object for larger dolls (see photo). Excellent
condition. Rare toy in well-preserved
condition.
