Description
2" x 12" card, 7" (18 cm) doll. A heavy cardboard
card with decorative paper borders and scrolled
label "Le Petit Artiste" is still preserved in
its original presentation, including bisque
socket head doll with glass sleep eyes, painted
features, blonde mohair wig, five piece
composition body, original costume to represent
artist, surrounded by a number of related
accessories, including wooden easel with
painting, brushes, paints, tools, and an
instruction manual "Etudes de Peintures Marines"
(study of marine paintings). Excellent, perfectly
preserved condition of the very rare Etrennes
presentation card. French, circa 1900.
