13" (33 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead of young man, tinted hair with sculpted curls at forelock and above each ear, deeply-set enamel eyes, sculpted open mouth with painted teeth, tinted beard stubble, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted blue stockings and black shoes with red buckles, velvet jacket and homespun pants. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
