Description
24" (61 cm). Bisque socket head, grey glass sleep eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted curled lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1249 dep Germany 11 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: the beautiful child has finest pale bisque, characteristic dimple in chin, cheek corners, and on lower lip, original wig, body, and body finish.
