Description
10" (25 cm). Bisque socket head with rounded
facial modeling, grey glass sleep eyes with
spiral threading, painted lashes, brushstroked
and feathered brows, accented nostrils and
eye corners, closed mouth with accent line
between the lips, blonde mohair wig over
plaster pate, early composition body with
jointing at shoulders, hips and knees.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: very
beautiful serene expression with choice
bisque, original wig, body, body finish, antique
rose silk dress with lace trim, undergarments,
shoes, stockings.
