Bisque shoulderhead with elongated facial modeling, very full cheeks punctuated by deeply impressed dimples, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecuts, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth in smiling expression, accented lips, row of tiny teeth, blonde mohair wig, kid gusset jointed body, bisque forearms, antique dotted Swiss dress, undergarments, leather shoes with silver medallions. Condition: generally excellent, one finger tip chipped. Marks: S 6 H 970 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rare early model with unusual smiling expression, choice bisque and painting.
