Description
14" (35 cm). All cloth doll with pressed and oil
painted facial features and hair, brown hair with
detailed fine curls around the face, green shaded
eyes, black upper eyeliner, brown eye shadow,
accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth,
pink muslin body, bellows-jointed legs with
button attachment for seating, stitch-jointed
arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
Kathe Kruse 2 5940 (foot stamp). Comments: Kathe
Kruse, circa 1930, the doll was marketed
as "Hampelchen". Value Points: fine original
condition of painted face and hair, original
costume.
