22" (56 cm). Bisque socket head with slender facial modeling portraying an adult woman, elongated throat, blue glass "flirty" eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, incised upper eyeliner, painted lower lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, accent dot on bottom lip, row of painted teeth, impressed dimples at corners of mouth and chin, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with adult female modeling. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1388 S&H Simon and Halbig Germany 8. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910. Value Points: rare model with wonderfully expressive features, superb definition of mouth and cheeks, choice bisque, elaborate antique silk walking suit, undergarments, stockings, leather boots, fancy straw bonnet with feathers and bird.
