Description
22" (56 cm). Pink-tinted bisque shoulderhead,
large blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes,
fringed brows over shaded undercoat, accented eye
corners and nostrils, open mouth with upturned
lips corners as though smiling, shaded and
accented lips, row of modeled teeth between the
very slightly parted lips, blonde mohair wig, kid
pin-jointed body with composition ball-jointed
arms and lower legs, antique costume. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 10. Comments:
Gebruder Heubach, the model is identical to their
dolls marked "Dolly Dimple", circa 1915. Value
Points: rare model with beautiful expressive
features, choice bisque and painting.
