Description
17" (43 cm.). All cloth doll with stiffened oil
painted face and hair, brown short hair with
stippled curls across the forehead, painted
facial features, small shaded blue eyes, upper
glancing pupils, white eyedots, black and
brown upper eyeliner, flat nose, closed mouth
with pursed lips, stitch-jointed shoulders,
frog-shaped hands, disc-jointed wide hips.
Condition: very good, paint wear at back of
head, stitch-repair to fingers, well costumed.
Marks: Kathe Kruse (purple ink on foot) F412
(pencil script on foot). Comments: Kathe
Kruse, circa 1911. Value Points: rare early
