14" (36 cm). Bisque socket head with slender facial modeling, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, feathered brows, aquiline nose, closed mouth with pale accented lips, brunette side-parted bobbed wig, composition flapper-style body jointed at shoulders and hips. slender torso and elongated limbs, painted white stockings with black heeled shoes, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 214 2 B&D Ltd. Germany. Comments: Bawo and Dotter, circa 1917. Value Points: very rare character model portraying young flapper era lady has most appealing expression, very fine bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
