17" (43 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with shaded lips, two square cut upper teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique silk costume, undergarments, black leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 9 H 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: pretty child with well detailed "long-faced" modeling, fine lustrous complexion, original body finish.
