Description
11" (28 cm). Solid domed bisque shoulderhead with
pink tinted bisque, blonde painted boyish hair
with slightly detailed sculpting, tiny blue
squinting eyes in deeply set sockets, lightly
feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth
with wide smiling expression, outlined lips, two
beaded teeth, impressed lip corners, defined
chin, kid gusset jointed body, bisque lower arms,
well costumed. Condition: generally excellent,
right thumb broken. Marks: Germany Heubach
(square) 7847. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa
1912. Value Points: rare little fellow with
wonderful detail of sculpting, choice bisque and
painting.
