Description
3"l. box. A curved cardboard box painted to
simulate wood with marbled box and leather
straps contains within two miniature bonnets
and a tiny peg-wooden doll. An old ink-written
note postmarked "22 Old Stine, Brighton,
December 24, 1870" contains a receipt for
"bonnet full trim" and "head dress", "with
respectful thanks". Very good condition. Circa
1870.
