Description
21" (52 cm). All cloth doll with swivel head,
pressed and oil painted facial features, shaded
brown painted eyes, black and brown upper
eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth with
pouty expression, brunette human hair, stitch-
jointed shoulders, disc-jointed legs. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 2 3854
(stamp on foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, the model
type VIII known as "Deutsches Kind", circa 1935.
Value Points: the all original doll with
beautiful painting has original flowered cotton
dress, shoes, undergarments, Kruse paper label
identifying the doll as "Anne Marie".
