head with flat-cut neck socket, blue glass
inset eyes, single stroke brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig,
composition five piece body with dowel at top
of torso that extends into head as attachment,
painted shoes and stockings. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments:
Germany, maker unknown, circa 1880. Value
Points: the early bisque pair have rare body
style, original silk and velvet folklore
costumes.
