Description
14" (35 cm). All felt doll with swivel head,
center facial seam with shaping seams at eye
corners, pressed facial features, black shoe-
button eyes, painted brows and lips of tiny
mouth, blushed cheeks, pale blonde mohair wig,
jointing at shoulders and hips, mitten hands with
separate thumbs. CONDITION: Generally excellent.
COMMENTS: Steiff, circa 1912, from their art
character series of dolls. VALUE POINTS: Amusing
expression on the well-preserved doll wearing
original red felt folklore style costume with
white blouse, apron, matching undergarments,
shoes, socks, and cap.
