Description
23" (58 cm). Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-
edged bisque shoulderplate, amber brown glass
paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading,
dark eyeliner encircles the eyecuts, painted
lashes, mauve blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked and
feathered brows with feathering detail, shaded
nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with
defined space between the shaded and outlined
lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork
pate, kid bebe body with Chevrot deposed leg-
jointing, wooden lower legs, kid over metal upper
arms, bisque forearms, separately sculpted
fingers with outlined nails, sculpted knuckles.
CONDITION: Generally excellent. MARKS: Bru Jne 8

shoulder). COMMENTS: Leon Casimir Bru, circa
1884. VALUE POINTS: Very beautiful model with
deeply sculpted features, choice bisque and
painting, perfect bisque hands, lovely antique
costume of richly embroidered gown,
undergarments, tulle bonnet with black silk
ribbons, leather shoes.
