Description
16" (40 cm). Solid domed bisque shoulderhead
turned to the right, pale bisque contrasting the
plump facial modelling, blue spiral threaded
eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted
lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and
eye corners, closed mouth with center accent
line, blonde mohair wig, kid gusset jointed body
with bisque forearms, antique costume. CONDITION:
Generally excellent, few kid patches at body
joints. MARKS: 639 # 8. COMMENTS: Alt, Beck and
Gottschalk, circa 1885. VALUE POINTS: Beautiful
bisque and expression on the closed mouth doll.
