Description
21" (53 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulderplate, pale blue glass enamel eyes
with spiral threading, dark eyeliner encircles
the eyecuts, painted lashes, arched brows,
accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth
with accented lips, brunette mohair wig over cork
pate, pierced ears, kid gusset jointed fashion
body with shapely torso. CONDITION: Generally
excellent, some small leather patches on body.
MARKS: 6 (head and shoulderplate). COMMENTS:
Gaultier, circa 1875. VALUE POINTS: Fine larger
poupee with lovely bisque and eyes, antique green
silk costume, undergarments, boots, white fur
collar, lorgnette, parasol and bonnet. Included
is domed doll trunk with an assortment of other
accessories and costume elements
