12" (30 cm). Bisque socket head, dark blue glass
paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes,
brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line,
pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over Steiner
pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed
body. CONDITION: Generally excellent. MARKS: J.
Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 5 (head) (original
paper label on body) VALUE POINTS: Jules Steiner,
circa 1889. VALUE POINTS: Appealing size of the
shy-faced bebe with very pleasing bisque and
painting, original body and body finish, antique
mariner costume.
