Bisque socket head with cafe-au-lair complexion,
amber brown glass paperweight eyes, painted
lashes, brown feathered brows, accented nostrils,
closed mouth with coral shaded lips, pierced
ears, black human hair wig, French brown
composition and wooden fully jointed body.
CONDITION: Bisque excellent, body repainted.
MARKS: Paris Bebe Tete depose 3. COMMENTS: Danel
et Cie, circa 1890, the model was made for one or
two years only until the firm was ended by its
lawsuit with Jumeau. VALUE POINTS: Few examples
of the Danel Paris Bebe are found, especially
with this pleasing light brown complexion,
