24" (61 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass
paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, incised
eyeliner, eyelid blush, brushstroked and
feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye
corners, closed mouth, shaded lips, dimpled chin
and lip corners, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig
over Steiner pate, French composition and wooden
fully jointed body, antique lace dress with
matching silk and lace jacket, bonnet,
undergarments, rose silk shoes. CONDITION:

d'Or Paris (body label). COMMENTS: Jules Steiner,
circa 1889. VALUE POINTS: Desirable shy-faced
modelling is nicely achieved on the closed mouth
bebe, original body and body finish, lovely
painting.
