Description
15" (38 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass
paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles
the eyecut, lushly painted lashes, brushstroked
and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils,
open mouth with shaded and outlined lips, row of
six teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over
cork pate, French composition and wooden fully
jointed body. CONDITION: Generally excellent.
MARKS: D 6 (and artist checkmarks, head).
COMMENTS: Emile Jumeau, circa 1895. VALUE POINTS:
Original unplayed-with condition with choice
bisque and painting, superb wig, original
earrings, muslin chemise, antique leather shoes,
original box labelled "Bebe Moderne".
