Description
20" (51 cm). Pale bisque swivel head with flat
cut neck rim that pivots only side to side on
matching bisque shoulderplate, plump facial
modelling, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes,
dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut, painted
lashes, arched feathered brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips,
unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate,
kid fashion body with shapely torso, gusset
jointing at hips, knees and elbows, silk gown
with undergarments, leather shoes, faux-watch and
fob. CONDITION: Bisque excellent, body excellent
except hands worn, right hand restitched at
wrist. MARKS: E. 3 Depose G. COMMENTS: Barrois
for Mystery doll firm, E.G. using rare Heuret
neck patent of 1861. VALUE POINTS: Beautiful
early poupee with deposed neck attachment, rare
signature.
