Description
15" (38 cm). Solid domed paper mache shoulderhead
with cameo-shaped face and elongated throat,
black painted pate with center slit for wig
insertion (wig not present), dark blue painted
eyes with black upper eyeliner, single stroke
brows, aquiline nose, pale lips, pink kid fashion
body with shapely torso and legs, mitten hands.
CONDITION: Generally excellent, rub on nose tip.
COMMENTS: French, circa 1845. VALUE POINTS:
Elegant facial modelling with well-preserved
original finish, original costume of silk and
lace, undergarments, silk slippers.
