Bisque socket head with chocolate brown complexion, long-faced modelling, brown glass inset eyes, black painted lashes, thick brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, six tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black bohair wig, brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body with unjointed wrists. CONDITION: Generally excellent. MARKS: S 12 H 949. COMMENTS: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. VALUE POINTS: Rare brown-complexioned example of the sought after model with choice complexion, original body finish, antique dress, undergarments, shoes.
