Description
13" (34 cm). Bisque socket head, painted facial
features, blue eyes with large black pupils,
heavily modelled eyelids with thick black upper
eyeliner, one stroke tapered brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with pouty expression,
glazed highlights on lips, blonde mohair wig,
composition and wooden ball-jointed body.
CONDITION: Generally excellent. MARKS: K*R 114
34. COMMENTS: Kammer and Reinhardt, their model
marketed as "Gretchen", circa 1910, from their
art reform series. VALUE POINTS: Deeply defined
facial modelling and choice lustrous patina of
bisque, original body and body finish, antique
costume and carrying ringlet of tiny dolls.
