Description
18" (46 cm). A paper mache bulldog with well
detailed physique has nodding head, glass inset
eyes, well-defined nose and hinged mouth that
opens by pulling chain to reveal ferocious
expression and teeth, curly ruff and ribbons
around the neck, wooden wheels hidden below his
feet. When the chain is pulled, his mouth open
and he "growls". French, circa 1900. Very good
condition, finish scrubbed on mask of face.
