Description
23" (58 cm). Bisque socket head with flattened
solid dome, large blue glass enamel inset eyes
with spiral threading, dark eyeliner encircles
the eyecut, painted curly lashes, brushstroked
and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners,
shaded nostrils, closed mouth with modelled space
between the shaded and outlined lips, pierced
ears, brunette mohair wig, Sonneberg composition
and wooden fully jointed body with straight
wrist. CONDITION: Generally excellent. COMMENTS:
Mystery maker, circa 1885. VALUE POINTS: Large
and very beautiful child doll with entrancing
eyes, rich painting, original body and body
finish, antique blue woolen dress, lace and silk
bonnet, undergarments, black leather shoes.
