30" (76 cm). Bisque socket head with spiral
spring neck attachment, blue glass paperweight
inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecut,
painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered
brows with decorative glaze, accented eye corners
and nostrils, closed mouth with white space
between the shaded and accented lips, separately
modelled pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over
cork pate, French composition and wooden fully
jointed body with straight wrists. CONDITION:
Generally excellent, original body finish. MARKS:
Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 14 (and artist's
check marks, on head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris
(body). COMMENTS: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. VALUE
POINTS: Beautiful large size 14 bebe has well-
defined features, original body and body finish,
lovely antique lace costume with undergarments,
shoes, socks, bonnet.
