Description
17" (43 cm). Bisque socket head with solid dome
and pink-tinted bisque, sculpted hair with detail
at forehead and drawn into a narrow band of
wrapped braids at the back of the head, sculpted
blue hair band and bow, intaglio small blue eyes
with prominent black pupils and white eyedots,
black and incised upper eyeliner, short wavy
brows, sculpted ears, accented nostrils of
rounded ears, closed mouth posed in joyful smile
with shaded lips, two rows of beaded teeth,
impressed cheeks and lip dimples, composition and
wooden fully jointed body. CONDITION: Generally
excellent. MARKS: Heubach (in square) 8050
Germany 7. COMMENTS: Gebruder Heubach, circa
1912. VALUE POINTS: Especially rare early model
by the firm has finest quality of sculpting and
painting to enhance the choice quality of bisque,
original folklore style costume.
