Description
9" x 7". A blue heavy paper box with beautiful
lid engraving indicating production by the French
toy maker of Cuperly, Blondel and Gerbeau, model
#8192/2, opens to reveal well-fitted original
interior of silver-finished metal dinner service
for two, including soup tureen, service dish, two
soup bowls and two plates, two sets of cutlery,
two napkins and napkin rings, soup ladle, two
menus. On the box bottom is original store
label "Au Plat d'etain Jouets, 37 & e9 rue des
Saints-Peres". Circa 1890. Near mint condition.
