7" (18 cm). Porcelain head with flanged neck has sculpted brown hair waved loosely away from face, highly defined laughing character expression, with impressed dimples and laughter lines, painted facial featured, red and black upper eyeliner, one stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with row of teeth, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque hands and painted brown shoes. CONDITION: Generally excellent. COMMENTS: Circa 1875. VALUE POINTS: Wearing original silk ivory jester costume, the rare character model doll is presented in its original glass-front presentation box.
