Description
each 17" (43 cm). Each has cloth swivel head with
pressed and painted painted facial features,
brown side glancing eyes, white eyedots, painted
upper lashes, single stroke brows, accented
nostrils, closed mouth with two accent dots on
bottom lip, stitched ears, brunette mohair wig,
muslin body jointed at shoulders and hips.
CONDITION: Unplayed with condition but with some
shelf wear (slight costume fading, face spotting,
blue-suited boy has grey smear on forehead and
onto right ear and cheek). COMMENTS: Reynal,
France, circa 1930. VALUE POINTS: The wonderful
pair of city boys wears their original woolen
belted jackets, trousers, argyle socks and
leather shoes, woolen plaid neck scarves and wool
tams.
