Description
16" (40 cm). Pressed/carved socket head with
deeply sculpted hair in casual boyish fashion,
side parted with tousled curls across the
forehead, intaglio blue eyes with large black
pupils and white eyedots, black upper eyeliner,
single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed
mouth in wide smile with row of beaded teeth, all
wooden spring-jointed body, well costumed.
CONDITION: Generally excellent, typical paint
rubs on bangs. MARKS: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan.

circa 1912. VALUE POINTS: Rare model with very
expressive features, excellent detail of
sculpting of hair and mouth, original finish well
preserved.
