17" (43 cm). Pressed/carved wooden socket head of
chubby-faced toddler has painted blue eyes, black
upper eyeliner and single stroke brows, accented
nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth in pouty
expression, shaded lips, well-defined double
chin, original tacked-on brunette mohair wig,
composition shoulderplate, muslin body with
stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips, wooden
hands, well costumed. CONDITION: Generally
excellent. MARKS: Schoenhut Doll, Pat. Jan.17'11

circa 1920. VALUE POINTS: Rare variation of
Schoenhut toddler with cloth body, original
complexion perfectly preserved.
