Description
14" (35 cm). Porcelain shoulderhead with black
painted hair in centerpart, waved into pageboy
curls and held by painted gilt snood with large
gilt bows at each side of face, painted blue eyes
with red and black upper eyeliner, closed mouth
with center line, muslin body with shapely torso,
wooden lower limbs, painted blue shoes.
CONDITION: Generally excellent. COMMENTS:
Germany, circa 1870. VALUE POINTS: Beautifully
preserved gold decorations of hair, original gown
and undergarments.
