Description
30" (76 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecuts, painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, French composition and wooden fully jointed body. CONDITION: Generally excellent, hands repainted. MARKS: 1907 14. COMMENTS: SFBJ, from original Jumeau "tete" model, circa 1907. VALUE POINTS: Pretty brown-eyed bebe wears elaborate folklore costume of embroidered blouse and apron, silk skirt, undergarments, boots, and large lace coiffe.
