Description
14" (35 cm). Pressed/carved wooden socket head,
intaglio dark blue eyes with prominent black
pupils and white eyedots, black upper eyeliner,
fringed brows, accented nostrils and eye corners,
closed mouth with full pouty lips, original
brunette mohair tacked-on wig, wooden spring-
jointed body. CONDITION: Generally excellent.
MARKS: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17, '11 USA and
Foreign Countries. COMMENTS: Schoenhut, circa
1912. VALUE POINTS: Superb original condition of
the wistful-faced child with original complexion
and painting, wig, Schoenhut shoes and stockings,
original stand, antique costume.
