5" (13 cm.) One-piece all-bisque figure of Kewpie with topknot, forelock curls, blue wings and side-glancing googly eyes, standing upon a platform, his head inclined to the side and his arms holding the pink tie-strings of an open-topped blue sack. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1912, from original designs by Rose O'Neill.
