each 14" (35 cm). Each has paper mache
shoulderhead with sculpted and painted hair,
painted facial features, slender kid body with
paper banding at junction of kid and wooden
limbs, slender wooden lower arms and legs,
painted shoes, very frail original costume of
woman is included. CONDITION: Very good, few
surface lines on man's face, line on woman's
shoulderplate. COMMENTS: Germany, circa 1860.
VALUE POINTS: Brown-eyed man wears original
costume, woman has rare hair style with long
ringlet curls, unusual paper banding.
