Description
Seven dolls, 9"-10". Each doll, representing
members of a family, is constructed with walnut
shell head having painted black complexion and
facial features, fleecy-woolen hair, armature
wrapped body with black cloth hands, over-sized
feet for standing. CONDITION: Generally
excellent. COMMENTS: Folk dolls, artist unknown,
circa 1925. VALUE POINTS: Imaginative painting of
features to depict family position and age, each
doll wears original artist-made costume.
