Description
55" L. A carved wooden horse in trotting position
with upright head is covered with (worn)
horsehair, and has carved detail of eyes,
nostrils, mouth, and hooves. Decorated lavishly
with leather harnesses and silver bells the horse
is attached to a fancily woven wicker carriage
with wooden frame, leather tufted seat, metal
handle and wooden hand grip. There is a small
wheel below the horse, and two large spoked
wheels on the cart, and there is fancy stenciling
decorating the cart base. When the cart is pushed
along the horse appears to trot. Good condition.
