Description
9" (23 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque torso, brown glass inset eyes, painted
lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and
eye corners, open mouth with accented lips, two
square-cut upper teeth, one square-cut lower
tooth, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with
modelled bent elbows, cupped hands, muscular
shaping of legs, dimpled knees, painted white
ribbed stockings with blue rims, black high laced
heeled boots, lace gown. CONDITION: Generally
excellent, tiny chip on underside of right pinky
finger, tiny chip left arm stringing hole. MARKS:
102 12. COMMENTS: Kestner, circa 1890. VALUE
POINTS: Large all-bisque with wonderfully
modelled details, swivel head, muscular body
detail.
