Description
12" (30 cm). Terra cotta figure portrays adult
man with short brown hair, sculpted beard and
moustache, painted facial features, closed mouth
with painted teeth, hemp-wrapped body, terra
cotta hands and lower legs with painted stockings
and black shoes. CONDITION: Generally excellent.
COMMENTS: Mid-19th century. VALUE POINTS:
Wonderfully preserved condition of the Neopolitan
figure wearing original silk costume (the jacket
is lined with old Italian script paper).
